ADELE GOLLMER (1930 - 2004) Peacefully with family by her side, Adele Gollmer passed away at St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, July 29, 2004, at the age of 73. Adele is survived by her loving husband Ted; her children, Linda Altomare, Bob Dolyniuk (Maureen), Alan Dolyniuk (Maria), Steven Dolyniuk (Anita), Ray Gollmer (Jane), Lelie Benson (Jeff), Randy Gollmer; and grandchildren, Tara, Trent, Robyn, Danielle, Dominique, Aaron, Mark, Sarah, Bonnie, Cathy, Micheal, Angie, Pam and Jeremy. Adele was born and raised in Winnipeg. She worked at Health Sciences Centre and volunteered for many years at the Manitoba Museum. After retirement, Adele and Ted enjoyed their many travels together in various parts of the world. Her other interests included swimming, reading, Saturday afternoon opera and spending time with family. Our thanks go to the staff of 5B at St. Boniface Hospital for their compassion and tremendous care of Adele. "Not a day goes by when you are not loved and missed. Held in our hearts forever." At her wish, Adele was remembered privately on July 31 before being cremated (Bardal Funeral Home, 843 Sherbrook). A memorial tea will be held for friends and family on Sunday, August 8 between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m., 17th floor - 133 Niakwa Rd. "The moon will rise, the sun will set....but we will not forget."
