HARRY SUSSMAN It is with great sadness that the family of Harry Sussman announces his passing after a short illness on September 25, 2004. He was predeceased by the love of his life and soul mate Doris. Harry is survived by his children, sons, Howard (Linda), Milton (Helen), Barry (Lori) daughter Terry Pollock (Shmee) sister Ann Grafstein; brother Nathan; and sister-in-law Hinda. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Joshua Sussman, Jennifer Quinn (Clayton Eggleston), Romy Sussman, Charles and Michael Stitz and Jennifer and Michael Pollock; his brother-in-law Moe Youngstein; sister-in-law Eva Sussman, sister-in-law Minnie Lewis, sister-in-law Clarice Lomow; and his many nieces and nephews. Harry will be remembered as a devoted and caring father, grandfather and brother. He was a true gentle man, he embodied "MENCHLEKEIT". His family meant everything to him. His gentle quiet nature belied his great inner strength which was most evident in his care for Doris during her lengthy difficult illness. After Doris death, Harry moved into the Portsmouth Retirement Residence where he renewed and made many friendships. His time at the Portsmouth revitalized him and he led an active and full life. The family would like to thank the staff of the Portsmouth for their kindness effort and care. A graveside service was held September 27 at the Hebrew Sick Cemetery. Donations may be forwarded in Harrys memory to the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, C400-123 Doncaster St., Winnipeg, MB R3N 2B2.
