KENNETH FREDERICK GRAVELINE It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Frederick Graveline on Monday, September 27, 2004 at the Foothills Hospital, Calgary. Ken was born November 16, 1953 in Winnipeg, MB, and is survived by his mother Doreen, sister and brother-in-law, Susan and David Dyck, his favourite nephew Brandon, favourite niece Katie, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Shirley Schacter. Ken was predeceased by his father Ted Graveline in 1996. Ken worked at Superior Envelopes in Winnipeg for 30 years as a pressman. In 2002 he joined Canada Safeway on Shawville Boulevard, in Calgary, where he was very happy and where he made many special friends. Ken was loved for his kind and gentle nature - he was happiest when he was helping others. He loved his new life in Calgary and many were touched by his joyful spirit. Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Ken is, and was, our nephew. We were kind of brought up with Ken...partly...we lived in the same house on Welchester Ave. in Fort Garry, Man., when Ken was born, and until Richard joined the RCAF. Ken loved to be entertained, and he loved to laugh. Both uncles, Richard and Wayne, baby-sat Ken many times. To say we loved Ken is such a huge understatement. Like the rest of Doreen's family, Ken was part of our soul. We are not whole without him. God has blessed us all with your short stay here on our very tough planet. He has shown us many forms of beauty, and yours is seldom found....sincerity, honesty, a humble attitude and a heart that failed you physically, but spiritually it left your mark on a very tough planet that surely can only benefit if we seek out the everyday tasks and results...but with your methods. You will not ever be forgotten by us, Ken, and we hope you will meet up with another deeply-loved nephew that we lost in the mid-50's...Andrew Myles Hooper...Andy. How our lives can go on without you two was not even considered possible while you two were here....yet now,you are both gone. We cannot fathom, now, not even thinking of not seeing you again. Thisis a meeting that keeps us going each day. In our minds, we will keep that appointment...until that day, please be sure to do well, and remember how we truly, truly love you.... - Posted by: Jack Wayne Hooper & Richard James Hooper (Uncles) on: Jul 16, 2012
