HAROLD HILARY SMITH January 26, 1905 - September 25, 2004 Peacefully on September 25, 2004 Harold passed away at the Tache Nursing Home at the age of 99 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years Eva, and granddaughter Annette. Harold is survived by his daughter Jennifer (Heartley) grandchildren Steven and Andrew (Cindy) great-grandchildren Annette, Jaime and Easton. Harold served in the British Army for thirty-five years and afterwards became a security guard at Skefco Bearing Company for many years in England. He came to Winnipeg in 1976 to be closer to his daughter and family and took employment as a security guard at the Childrens Hospital. His love for his home, family and beautiful gardens will be remembered always. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Tache Nursing Home for giving him such loving care and Dr. Dillon and Joan of KLINIC for their exceptional care over the years. Cremation has taken place and a family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tache Centre, 185 Despins, R2H 2B3
