HARVEY WILLIAM FIELD January 16, 1918 - October 21, 2004 After a courageous battle with Parkinsons, the angels took our father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend home on October 21, 2004. Dad was predeceased by the love of his life, Kathleen in 2001. He leaves to cherish his many memories, his loving daughter Lyn (Marcel) Lagasse; grandchildren, Neil, Lori (Ruben) and Rob; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Savanah and Sabastian. Dad was born on January 16, 1918 and lived in St. Vital all his life. He fought for his country from 1939 to 1945 and was an active member of the St. Vital Legion, Branch No. 16 from the onset. In 1946 he married Kathleen Carpenter and together they shared 54 wonderful years. Dad had a passion for football, hockey, curling and fishing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 27 at the Glen Lawn Funeral Home, 455 Lagimodiere Blvd. With interment and reception to follow.
