ROBERT ORVILLE DOUGLAS PICKERING With deepest sorrow and heavy hearts, we regret to announce the untimely passing of our loved one, who tragically left us on October 28, 2004. Rob was born on February 13, 1967, grew up in Ile des Chenes, MB and later settled with his family in Lorette, MB. Left to mourn are his wife Janet and their children, Robert Jr. and Jaclyn; his father Orville; his mother Geraldine; sisters, Ingrid (Gilbert) Jamault; brother Tom (Dana) father and mother-in-law, Rudy and Denise Hudrick; sister-in-law Linda; brother-in-law Rudy Jr. (Brigitte) grandmothers, Olga Hudrick and Delia Fontaine; his adoring nephews and nieces, Erik and Jared Jamault, Owen Pickering, Ashley, Amanda and Amber Hudrick. Rob will also be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Rob and Janet were married in 1989 and soon started a family, Robert Jr. in 1990 and Jaclyn in 1992. In 1994, Rob fulfilled his dream of becoming a journeyman carpenter and worked many successful years for PCL Constructors. Rob took great pride in his work on numerous projects in Winnipeg, northern Manitoba, Ontario and Yellowknife, NWT. His strong work ethic and dedication were admired by many. Rob deeply loved his family. He and Janet, or as he would say "Toots", shared in supporting their children in various activities. They enjoyed playing cards and socializing with friends. Rob treasured his time with his kids. He and Robert shared an interest in cars, snowmobiles, and anything on wheels. Rob was proud to have Robert, his "Parch", helping him with many home projects. Rob and Jaclyn, "Daddys Little Girl", shared a love of music and singing along. He was proud of her ringette abilities. They enjoyed their marathon shopping trips together. Rob was always happy to get together with friends and family to play games and have some laughs. We all miss you, Rob. Youll live on forever in our hearts. We love you Dad! Loving you forever and ever and ever, Babe. Rest in peace. Prayers and service will be held Tuesday, November 2 at 1:00 p.m. at Notre Dame de Lorette Parish Church. Private interment will be held at a later date. Pallbearers will be some of Robs closest friends and relatives, Paul Desaultels, Patrick Dumont, Jerry Davy, John Hudrick, Bruce Gauthier and Jim Paulson.
