MARIA STEPIEN It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother Maria Stepien. She passed away peacefully at Central Park Lodge, Parkview Place on Sunday, December 5, 2004 at the age of 78 years. Maria immigrated to Canada from Lodz, Poland in 1968 to join her sister in starting a life in Canada with her family. She worked for the City of Winnipeg for several years and was recently predeceased by her sister Irene Zatonski. Maria is survived by her daughter Henryka Schroeder; son Zbigiew (Hania) Aniol; granddaughters, Candice, Monica and Jessica; nieces, Jeanette Monkman and her children, Kyle, Lee and Deanna Monkman; nephew Richard Zatonski. We thank the staff at Parkview Place for the loving care they provided our mother with over the last few years. Prayers 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 8 at Bardal Funeral Chapel, 843 Sherbrook St. Funeral mass 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 9 at Holy Ghost Parish, 341 Selkirk Ave. with Rev. Fr. Anthony Degutis, OMI presiding. Committal will take place at a later date at Holy Ghost Cemetery.
