NICK FOCHAK Nick Fochak, aged 86 years, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2004 at the Beausejour Hospital. He was predeceased by his loving wife Teenie; his brothers, Bill and Mike and his sister Mary. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his only daughter Marilyn of Beausejour; sister Pauline Nimchuk; sister-in-law Helen Fochak, both of Transcona and numerous nieces and nephews. Nick was born in Julius, MB on April 17, 1918 to William and Mary Fochak. He worked at the CPR Telegraph and then at the Western Peat Moss from where he retired in 1983. In 1946, he married Teenie Marcinow, with whom he shared 56 years of marriage. They lived in Julius for 13 years and then moved to Beausejour where he lived until his passing. He enjoyed hunting, nature, and gardening. He also enjoyed visiting with friends and neighbours. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Beausejour. His cremains will be interred in the Beausejour Town Cemetery at a later date.
