ALICE FEERE (WASYLENA) (nee MALYSH) With wonderful memories and deep sadness we announce the passing of, Alice Feere on Saturday, December 11, 2004, at Concordia Hospital, aged 67 years. Alice was predeceased by Bert, her husband of 45 years; parents John and Elsie Malysh; sisters Mary and Katherine (both in infancy). She will be sadly missed by four children; nine grandchildren; two brothers and their families; Jim (Elizabeth), Barry (Janice), Ken, and Susan (Wayne) Franklin; grandchildren, Ryan, Corey, Karey, Jennifer, Melyssa, Jesse, Samantha, Ethan, and Rebecca; brothers and family, Henry (Shirley) Malysh; children, Blair (Sabrine) and Curtis, Mike (Darlene) Malysh and children Dean and Dana. Alice was born and raised in a small farming community in Saskatchewan. She met and married Bert when she was 20. While she was busy raising a family of four, she sidelined in the food industry, until she was able to manage her own little restaurant. Here she befriended many people, some came to be lifelong friends. When she retired she moved on to her new love, caring for her grandchildren. Alice's family wishes to express a special thank you to all caregivers at Concordia Hospital for the extra time and loving attention you gave. Mom, you are a very special person in our lives and will be greatly missed. We love you. Memorial service will be held on Friday, December 17, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St. Interment to follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oncology Department, Concordia Hospital Foundation, 1095 Condordia Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2K 3S8, in Alice's memory, for patient comfort.
