MELVIN WRAY TAYLOR It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and grandfather. Wray was born in Winnipeg, June 29, 1930. In 1954, he married his wife Barbara (nee Coghill) and they were able to share 50 plus years together, celebrating their golden wedding anniversary last April. Dad found employment in various areas until he gained employment as a cook at Bel Acres Golf Country Club in 1973 and eventually became co-owner. He and mom spent the best years of their lives there, working hard throughout the spring and summer and spending many relaxing winters in Lake Havasu. Dad is survived by his wife Barbara; and their children, Ron (Sandra), Doug (Kathy), Shawn (Holly), Trevor (Erma), Melissa (Barry) and Greg (Teena). He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Ryan, Tiffany (Dwight); Ian, Derek, Travis; Kennedy; Kathleen, Kelsey, Noaka; and Cadence. The family would like to thank Dr. Pinniger and staff at the Stonewall District Health Centre. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 11 at 1:00 p.m. at MacKenzie Funeral Home in Stonewall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or the Stonewall Hospital.
