ANNA KVORIAK A beautiful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Anna Kvoriak passed away suddenly in her 93rd year at Selkirk General Hospital on January 5, 2005. Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Filip in 1985 and her beloved youngest daughter, Helen Yakachuk in 1978. She is survived by two daughters, Anne (Noel) Lanthier and Susan (Gerald) Wallace; grandchildren, Bob, Peter and David Yakachuk, Brenda (Kim) Meger, Trevor Wallace, Nicole (Kurt) Fischer and Marc Lanthier; and great-grandchildren, Cassidy and Evan. Mum's passions were her family, her many daily prayers, her church, needlework and gardening. Many thanks to the ladies at the Knight's Centre who were there for her, especially Evelyn and Isabelle. Prayers will be said on Sunday, January 9 at 7:00 p.m. at the Gilbart Funeral Home, 309 Eveline St., Selkirk. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, January 10 at 10:30 a.m. in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, with Fr. Boguslaw Wardzinski officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Flowers are gratefully declined. If friends so desire, donations may be made to a charity of their choice. Rest in peace gentle mother.
