STEFAN KULON Peacefully on Tuesday, February 8, 2005, Stefan passed away at the Seven Oaks Hospital. Stefan is survived by daughters, Sophie (Ben), Stella (Ed), Irene (Gabe) and Terri (Rick); grandchildren, Ken (Leanne), Jeff, Darrell (Anita), Brian (Tanya), Greg (Susan), Christopher (Allison), Steve (Sherrie), Paul (Vickey) and Paul (Jaime); great-grandchildren, Emily, Sarah, Arianna, Kaylee, Jaron, Jade, Alexis, Braxton, Gage, Chanelle, Kerrigan and Seth. He was predeceased by his wife Jozefa; and brothers, Bronek, Kostek and Kantek; sister Kazmiera; grandson Michael. Stefan was born in Poland in 1908 where he survived an extremely difficult childhood and many years of hard labour on the farm. After working and living in Germany for a number of years, he brought his family to their new home in Canada in 1957, and settled in Winnipeg. Stefan's hard work in demolition supported his family until his retirement. His diverse working experience provided him with the knowledge to fix almost anything whether it be plumbing, carpentry, mechanical or toys. The family gives special thanks to Lorrie for her loving care. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 15 from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave., with Mass of Christian Burial being celebrated at 10:30 a.m. with an Oblate Father as celebrant. Interment will be in Holy Ghost Cemetery. Stefan worked hard all his life, even in his dreams, and never lost his sense of humour. May all your roads be straight and good fishing. God take you into his tender care. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044
