Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryELIZABETH LOUISE LAIDLAW December 14, 1924 - February 5, 2005 Mom's passing on Saturday, February 5, 2005, just six months after the passing of our father William John Laidlaw (July 8, 2004) leaves our family in such a deep state of mourning. We are so very saddened to say that our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend Elizabeth Laidlaw (Betty) has left us and is now our Guardian Angel. Mom's struggle the last six months to stay with us was an incredible journey of many peaks and valleys with times of much joy when her progress seemed to be going well and started to improve; however this was followed with much sadness when health issues proved too much to overcome and Mom's struggle was over before we knew it. Respecting Mom's wishes, her remains will be cremated and a memorial service will take place at a later date. For anyone wishing to do so, a donation would be much appreciated to either the Diabetes Foundation or to the Winnipeg Humane Society. To the many who visited, called, sent flowers, cards and letters of love and encouragement, we very much appreciated your care and concern. They made a difference. Our hearts are broken... Loving you always Mom... Sons, Bob and Gary (Debby, Blake, Jenna) and daughter Wendy (Hutch) and granddaughter Kristine (Dain, Taylor and Konner) and much loved family friend Keith.
