Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILFRED (BILL) STEVENS June 24, 1930 - May 16, 2005 The children of Bill Stevens sadly announce the passing of their father May 16, 2005 at his residence. Bill is survived by his children, Tom (Sashia), David and Marcia. His children brought him great joy and he was very proud of them. He was predeceased by his mother Ella in 1980. Bill worked for Furnasman Heating for many years before starting his own business in Lac du Bonnet in the early 70's. He joined the maintenance staff of Assiniboine South School Division # 3 in 1979 and was there until his retirement. Bill cherished the friendships that he had and was always there to help. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday May 21 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. with viewing one-half hour prior to service time. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, Suite 200-6 Donald St., Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6. Arrangements entrusted to: CHAPEL LAWN FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 885-9715 Family and friends are invited to sign the Book of Condolence at www.chapellawn.mb.ca
