YVETTE TAYLOR (nee CHAMPAGNE) It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Yvette Taylor on June 26, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital. Yvette was born in Winnipeg on April 13, 1948 and grew up with her parents, Yves and Noella Champagne in the St. Boniface and Windsor Park areas. She attended both Windsor Park Collegiate and St. Mary's Academy. Yvette worked most of her life for Cargill Grain, where she retired in the early 1990's. Upon her retirement, she was able to pursue her true passions in life; arts and crafts and spending time with her grandson Riley. Yvette is survived by her husband Bill, son Kelly, daughter-in-law Marcie Taylor and grandson Riley, her sister Michelle (Marcel), brother Robert, as well as numerous cousins and relatives through out North America. The family would like to thank the staff of 7 West at the St. Boniface Hospital, with a special thanks to Jackie, Dr. Yaffe and Dr. Foerster for their compassionate care and attention. A service celebrating Yvette's life will be held on Thursday, June 30, at 7:00 p.m. in the Coutu Funeral Chapel, 680 Archibald St., with a reception to follow in the Coutu lounge. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations in memory of Yvette can be made to the CancerCare Manitoba 675 McDermot Ave Wpg. MB.R3E 0V9 The Coutu family in care arrangements: E.J. COUTU CO. I worked with Yvette in the 80's and early 90's. She was a good friend and co-worker and helped me a lot when I first came into the accounting area she worked in. - Posted by: Bernice Shaver (Co-Worker) on: Jul 06, 2005

I worked with Yvette for many years. She was a warm caring person with an infectious laugh. She had the same birthday as my son, so I will never forget her birthday. She received much pleasure from her relationship with grandson Riley in the last few years. I will miss her. - Posted by: Ted Ash (Co-Worker) on: Jul 05, 2005

I knew Yvette since the early 70's when we both worked at Cargill until her retirement. Her family was her greatest joy and she always had pictures to show us of her pets especially the Springer Spaniel. My deepest sympathy to the family. - Posted by: Jackie Greenaway (Co-Worker) on: Jun 30, 2005

Yvette's father is a first cousin of my mother, Beatrice (Beaugrand dit Champagne) Girouard. I would like to give my deepest sympathies to the family. And thanks to cousin Renald Champagne for passing on the message for me. It has been passed on to the other cousins. - Posted by: Richard Girouard (Family) on: Jun 29, 2005
