ELSIE LEONA STEPHENSON October 11, 1920 - August 3, 2005 Peacefully in her sleep, on August 3, 2005, Elsie passed away at Tuxedo Villa at the age of 84. Elsie was predeceased by her husband Harvey James Stephenson in 1981 at the age of 75. Elsie will be sadly missed by her son Raymond James Stephenson; and one surviving sister Stephanie (Ralston) Rabey of Port Coquitlam. She will also be mourned by many nephews, nieces, extended family and friends. Elsie was born and spent most of her life in Beausejour. She was a devoted mother and wife and always put her family first. Elsie always enjoyed getting together with friends and family especially in Beausejour for special events. She had a great sense of humour and always had something good to say to everyone. A special thanks to the staff at Tuxedo Villa, station 1 for their care shown to Elsie. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 9 at 11:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, 4000 Portage Ave., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Elsie's memory may be made to the Diabetes Association, 102-310 Broadway Ave., Winnipeg, MB R3C 0S6.
