Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryREV. DR. KENNETH COLIN MCLEOD August 23, 1912 - August 14, 2005 Ken died peacefully after a brief illness in Victoria, BC. Ken was born in Ontario but moved to the prairies at an early age and no matter where in Canada he was, he had a special place in his heart for Saskatchewan and Manitoba. His calling was to the ministry and in 1942 he graduated from United Theological College and began his vocation. He and Eleanor, his loving wife for more than 60 years served together for many years in Norway House, MB. There they raised their young family of five children. Then in 1956 he was called to Edmonton, AB where he ministered to the downtown residents at Bissell Memorial United Church. Ken and Eleanor retired to British Columbia. Ken had a remarkable life and with all those who were fortunate enough to know him, he has left an indelible personal legacy. This legacy will live on in the hearts, minds and deeds of his family and friends. He will be sadly missed but joyfully remembered. Ken is survived by his wife, Eleanor. Sons, Lee, Raymond and Gerry. Daughters, Janice and Heather. Sisters, Mona, Isabel and Geneva. Seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his beloved brothers Gerald and Rorrie. Memorial services followed by reception will be held Saturday, August 20 at Brentwood United Church at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements care of First Memorial Funeral Services.
