Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryNETTIE LOZINSKI (nee BUCHY) February 6, 1926 - August 17, 2005 With great love and wonderful memories, the family of Nettie Lozinski announces her peaceful passing on August 17, 2005 at Riverview Health Center. Nettie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Donna (Josh) Milne and Patricia (Ted) Teterenko; grandchildren, Mark and Matthew Milne, Derek and Alyson Teterenko; as well as numerous relatives and friends. Nettie was predeceased by her husband William, in 1989. Nettie was born on February 6, 1926 and spent her childhood in the Gilbert Plains area. Nettie and Bill were married in November 1951 and raised their daughters while working side by side in their registered seed growing business in Ashville. She was proud of the fact that she could and often did operate all the equipment on the farm. She had many wonderful talents: gardening, sewing, baking, crocheting, and folk art painting. Gardening was a passion for her, whether for the large vegetable garden at home in Ashville, or the geraniums in containers on her balconies in the apartments in Winnipeg. Still in hospital she was reminding us to water her geraniums, even though they didn't get planted this year. Mom and Dad moved to Dauphin in 1975. After Dad's death Mom fulfilled their plans to be closer to their grandchildren and moved to Winnipeg in 1991, first living in St. Vital and then in West St. Paul. Funeral will be held on Monday, August 22, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the cemetery. Special thanks for the compassionate care provided by the staff at Seven Oaks 5th floor Unit 1, Misericordia Health Center Cornish 6 and Riverview Health Center Palliative Care 3E.
