WILLIAM (BILL) WILDERMAN Peacefully on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at the St. Norbert Personal Care Home, Bill passed away at the age of 86 years. Remaining to cherish Bill's memory are his wife Agnes of 51 years of marriage; sons, Jim (Jennifer); granddaughters, Brittany and Tessa, and Ronald; daughters, Joanne Simes; granddaughter Kate, and Elizabeth Borsboom (Allan); and granddaughters, Jessica and Amanda. Bill was born in Biggar, SK on October 28, 1918. He joined the University of Manitoba in 1948 in the Department of Animal Science and soon after assumed the Farm Manager role which he held until his retirement in 1983. Throughout his life, Bill was an avid gentleman farmer . On a small acreage outside of Winnipeg he raised and cared for a wide variety of animals from time to time including cows, chickens, turkeys, pheasants, and even a goat or two. His greatest love however was horses and dogs. He showed horses at local fairs throughout the province and was especially remembered for his Hackney ponies. In later years Bill also spent many weekends judging horse shows. He raised various breeds of dogs, most notably West Highland White Terriers and Cairn Terriers, and successfully competed in many dog shows. A loving husband and devoted father, we could always enjoy his sense of humour and look to him for a smile, in almost any circumstance. We will miss him very much. An Evening of Remembrance for family and close friends will be held Thursday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. in the Howden Community Club, 1078 Red River Dr. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
