JOAN HUME (nee CHATWIN) (CALNEK) Joan Hume (nee Chatwin) (Calnek) born April 2, 1927 to the late George and Alma Chatwin, passed away on September 1, 2005 in Sechelt, BC, peacefully in her sleep after a long illness. She is survived by her sons, John (Jane), Rob (Shannon) and David. Grandchildren, Jason (Catherine), Sara, Adam, Justin, Carmen, Erin and Lauren. Great-grandchild Gavin. Also survived by her sister Patricia (Art, deceased) Ball, nieces and nephew, Ruth, George, Mary Ellen and their families. Good friends, Buddy (Doug, deceased) Brett and families. All of Joan's friends, too many to mention, but she loved them all. A special thanks to all the ladies in Sechelt who took great care of Mom and especially to sons, David and Rob. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 7:00 p.m. in St. Matthews Anglican Church Chapel, 641 St. Matthews Ave.
