FLORENCE UHRYNIUK (nee WITWICKI) It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother, Florence on September 11, 2005, after a courageous battle with cancer. Remaining to cherish her memory are her sons, Vince (Gail), and John; her daughter Barb Beakhouse (Gord); grandchildren, Crystal and Hailee; and friend and fellow musician Wayne Wozny. She is survived by her sisters, Phyllis McElhoes, Bernice Witwicki and Evelyn Witwicki. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Josephine Witwicki and her brothers, John and Edward Witwicki. Florence was employed as a cashier in the grocery department of The Bay Downtown for 35 years. She was an accomplished musician and her greatest passion was her love of music. She passed on this love of music to her sons, and spent most of her life entertaining others with her accordion. Many will remember The Family Band, The Dynamic Duo, and especially the team of Florence and Wayne, playing at various venues around the city and province. Her music and her kind heart allowed her to make many friends over the years. Our heartfelt thanks to Wayne for helping Mom during her struggle over the past few years. In accordance with Mom's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 16 at 1:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home. If wished and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favourite charity. Arrangements entrusted to: GLEN EDEN FUNERAL HOME 4477 Main Street 338-7111 Friends and family are invited to sign the Book of Condolences at www.gleneden-mb.ca
