Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryPATRICIA WALDIE WARR (Nee Brenner) Peacefully on September 12, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital, Pat Warr passed away at the age of 91 years. Pat was born in Churchbridge, SK and moved to Winnipeg as a young woman. She married Tom Warr in 1939 and made a loving home for her husband and daughters. We will always remember her gentle ways, her sense of humour, her easy laugh, her positive outlook, her devotion and her smile that radiated love. Her memory will be cherished by her two daughters, Judy (Barry) Smith and Sharon (Greg) Clarke of Port Moody, BC. She will always be remembered by her three grandsons, Glenn Smith, Paul and Scott Clarke. Also surviving are her sisters, Hilda (Lawrence) Johnson of Vernon, BC, Florence Gunnarson of Victoria, BC and Marjorie Obenauer of Vernon, BC along with numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Tom; her parents, Edward and Helen Brenner; her sisters, Adolphene Heidemann, Lynne Partridge, Ruth Ott, Mary Wirth, Sally Bennett and brothers, Lou and Ed Brenner. The family is indebted to many people who helped our Mom over the past few years, particularly the homecare workers who made her last years much easier. Her stay at Cornish 6 at the Misericordia Health Centre was made pleasant by staff who cared. We especially want to thank the doctors and staff at the St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their compassion and understanding at the end of Mom's life. A service in celebration of Pat's life will take place at St. Mary's Road United Church, 613 St. Mary's Road, Thursday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Russell Wardell officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, 200 - 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6 or a charity of your choice.
