Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY EVELYN CRAYSTON (Nee LESLIE) January 29, 1916 - September 11, 2005 Peacefully at the Victoria General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Left to cherish her memory are George, her devoted husband of 65 years; son David (Ruth) of Phoenix, AZ; daughter Joan (Rod) of Kelowna, BC; grandchildren, Dirk, Mary, Scott and Ilana; sister Katherine and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mary was born and raised in the Baldur, MB area, married in Madsen, ON and then happily spent the rest of her life in Winnipeg. She enjoyed a 20 year career at Eatons and was an active member of the Ivy Rebecca Lodge and St. Vital United Church. One of the great joys of Mary's life was 40 summers spent at the family cottage at Falcon Lake where everyone was always welcome. She will be fondly remembered for her delicious meals, her fun-loving personality and her generous, caring spirit. A memorial service will be held at Meadowood United Church, 1111 Dakota St. on Friday, September 16 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Mary's name to a charity of one's choice.
