CHERYL ROSEMARY REYNOLDS (nee KUPPERS) Cheryl Rosemary Reynolds passed away peacefully at Riverview Health Centre on Wednesday, August 31, 2005. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by husband Victor, mother Vaila and brother Bruce. Cheryl was predeceased by her father Maurice in 1992; sister-in-law Lillian in 2004; uncle Alex in 2003 and aunt Winnifred in 2005. Cheryl leaves to cherish her memory many extended family members, uncles Ivor and Ned; aunts, Freda, Hazel, Lorraine, Clarissa, Jan, Del and Marion and many cousins, as well as the Zelenitsky clan (Victor's family), Charlie (Donna), Sheryl (John), Darla (Chris) and Gary and great-great-nieces, Alicia and Lauryn. Cheryl was born and raised in Winnipeg. She worked in a variety of positions with the provincial government in the departments of Mines and Natural Resources, Highways and Transportation and Family Services. Cheryl was a caring person who always helped her family and friends without reservation. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and friend who made herself available whenever needed. She was artistic and enjoyed creating beautiful treasures that will remain with those of us fortunate enough to have them in our homes. Cheryl loved nature and had a special connection to her pets. She enjoyed spending time working in her yards at Winnipeg Beach and in the city. She looked forward to winter vacations and summers at the cottage. Victor and Cheryl planted many trees and shrubs at both homes and watched them grow with interest and pride. She has left many special memories of those times. Cheryl had definite opinions about most things and was always more than willing to share them. Many interesting discussions resulted from the expressions of her thoughts. We will miss those lively debates and words of enlightenment. Cheryl fought her illness intending to win. When it became apparent that she was no match for it, she accepted her circumstance graciously. She left us in peace knowing that her passage would be safe. She was not afraid. Cheryl will be missed and remembered with affection by those of us who were fortunate enough to have known her. Thanks is expressed to the staff at Riverview who made her comfortable and secure. Cheryl appreciated their professionalism. A private funeral service has already been held. Donations may be made in memory of Cheryl to the Winnipeg Humane Society.
