GIUSEPPE VIOLI It is with sadness in our hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved brother and uncle on September 8, 2005 in Santa Cristina d'Aspromonte, Reggio Calabria, Italy. Giuseppe was born in S. Cristina on February 9, 1946. He was predeceased by his parents, Michelina and Domenico Violi and sister Mimma Russo. Even though Giuseppe was unable to follow the rest of his family to Canada, he was always on our minds and a big piece of our hearts was always there with him. He will always be remembered to us with an infectious smile on his face. He leaves to mourn his memory, his brother Antonio (Angela) Violi; sisters, Angela (Francesco) Cirillo, Rosetta (Angelo) Romeo, Maria (Carmine) Urciuoli; and brother-in-law Giuseppe (late Mimma Russo), all of Winnipeg. Besides his siblings, he leaves many nieces and nephews that loved him. He also leaves uncles, aunts and cousins that loved and respected him in Italy and the United States. The family would like to thank their cousin Pietro Campanella for the many years of heartfelt care he provided Giuseppe. A memorial mass will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 7:30 p.m. at Holy Rosary Parish, 510 River Ave.
