Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARRY (JASON) DAVID LONG Aged 39 March 9, 1966 - September 9, 2005 With heavy hearts the Long family announces the untimely passing of Jason in a tragic accident in Fukuoka, Japan on Friday, September 9, 2005. Jason leaves to mourn and cherish his memory, his beloved sweet wife and soul mate, Yuka (they were married only recently on July 18, 2005 in Japan followed by a Canadian wedding on August 8, 2005); his loving parents, Barry and Helen; his four siblings/best friends and their families, Michael and Cheryl (Tanner and Jillian), Winnipeg; Leanna and Randy Martin (Kyle and Bryn), Neepawa; Trevor and Sheryll, Canmore, AB; Joleen and Leonard LeSage (Brielle), Winnipeg; his Aunts, Uncles, Cousins; Yuka's parents and family and an overwhelming network of wonderful friends from all over the world. A funeral service and cremation took place in Fukuoka, Japan September 12, 2005. A memorial service will take place in St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, Neepawa, Manitoba on Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. Full obituary to follow in Neepawa Papers. I don't think I ever saw Jason without a smile on his face, and it was infectious -- time spent with him was always full of laughter.
