WILLIAM (BILL) ALLEN LAWRENCE Peacefully, on Thursday, September 8, 2005 at the Health Sciences Centre, Bill died with his special friend Val at his side, at the age of 68 years. Bill is survived by his sons Patric and Billy; daughter Susan (Brandt) McKillop; grandchildren Mathew and Meagan; brothers Ken (Leslie), Jim (Lynda) and sister Audrey (Ken) Matchett. His life was enriched by his extended Riverton family and especially Val, Kim, Stacey, McKae, Sage, Caitlin and Kyle. All Bill's friends know what an avid hunter, fisherman and snowmobiler he was and also how much he enjoyed his winters in Texas and snowbird friends. On Friday, September 23 at 1:00 p.m., a memorial service will be held at Val Ledingham's residence in Riverton, MB with Rev. Walter Franz officiating. A reception will follow at the Riverton Fellowship Church. In the event of rain, the service will be held at the church. Special thanks to all the staff of the Health Sciences Centre GD6 ward for their compassionate and professional care of Bill and support of his family.
