PETER LENIO Peacefully on Thursday, September 15, 2005, Peter passed away at Seven Oaks Hospital at the age of 83. He was predeceased by his wife Frances and daughter Laurie. Peter will be lovingly remembered by his children, Tom (Ema), Jim, Linda and Janis; grandchildren, Jonas, Eli, Peter, Jonathon, Kyla, Tonya, Stephanie; great-granddaughter Nikole; and sister Theresa. Peter came to Winnipeg as a young boy and made Point Douglas his life long home. He worked as a machinist for CNR from 1948 to 1982. For many years he was an active member of the Lithuanian Club of Manitoba. Upon his retirement he filled his years with his love of travel, playing crib and working on his Jumbles. A celebration of his life will take place on Monday, September 19 at 10:00 a.m. at Korban Funeral Chapel, 907 Main St. Active pallbearers will be Jonas Lenio, Eli Lenio, Peter Lenio and Leonard Kopytko. The family would like to thank his grandson Jonas and the staff on 3BU7 at Seven Oaks Hospital for the compassionate care he received.
