KATHLEEN (PAT) CHEZICK (nee NOONAN) February 26, 1943 - September 15, 2005 Peacefully at the St. Boniface Hospital with her family at her side Pat Chezick passed away after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Pat will be lovingly remembered by her husband Harvey; daughter Jamie (Brad) Benoit; sons, Jason, Justin (Kerri); grandchildren, Jennifer and Nicole; and great-grandson Blake. She also leaves her sisters, Joey Bourdages, Peggy Vincent, Rosemary (Jake) Waldner; brothers, Tom (Lynn) Noonan and Kevin (Daphne) Noonan; along with many nieces, nephews and friends. Pat was an extremely hard working energetic individual. Her business endeavours included, hotel and grocery store management. Pat owned and operated numerous successful restaurants, which were renowned for her fabulous home cooked meals. Up until her illness she operated a personal maid service. Pat was a very creative person who so loved to work with her hands. Her passion in life was spending time at the cottage with her family. She loved to garden and had a green thumb with any plant she touched. Our family would like to express our sincere gratitude to Dr. Wong and Dr. Loiselles and the incredible staff on 8A. Special thanks to nurse Clare for her amazing care and support. On Monday, September 19, at 3:00 p.m. a celebration of Pat's life will be held at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. If friends so desire donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 2B7.
