DILYS ELLEN MARY FIDLER With heavy hearts, but wonderful memories we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Dilys Fidler. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her three children, Linda (Jordy), Diane (Ron) and Jacqueline (Richard); her grandchildren, Roger, Leah, Mike, Lisa, Trevor (Gaby), Shayne, Debbie (Rod) and Raileen; numerous great-grandchildren; and niece June (Keith). Dilys was predeceased by her husband Charles; her parents; three sisters; and one brother. Dilys was born and resided in St. Vital for most of her life. She then moved to St. James where she resided until her passing. Dilys was a kind and gentle person who loved to bowl, play bingo, travel and do jigsaw puzzles. She enjoyed having her morning coffee with her friends. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Dilys' life will be held on Tuesday, September 20 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. # 1 East at Navin Road. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dilys' memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba, 6 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3L 0K6.
