Mom was born October 28 at Ideal, MB. She grew up on a farm and in her early 20's moved to Winnipeg to work. In 1951, she married Dad and together they raised their two children on the farm in Homer, MB. In 1982, they sold the family farm and made their home in Arborg. Mom loved to knit, sew and tend to her flowers and garden. She was a great cook who loved nothing more than to make perogies for her children. No one ever left her home hungry. She enjoyed the outdoors, camping and would fish for countless hours. Special thanks to the staff at the Arborg Personal Care Home for the wonderful care and compassion they showered on Mom during her stay with them.
