JADE SUSAN VINET (nee MARKWART) January 8, 1981 - September 16, 2005 Peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, Jade passed away with her family at her side at the Health Sciences Centre. Vinet, Dale and Norma Vinet; and niece Sherrice; grandmothers, Melvina Taylor and Doris Markwart, many loving aunts, uncles and cousins and in her life journey she made many close friends. Jade was predeceased by her grandfathers, Edgar Taylor and Herbert Markwart, cousin Alan Taylor and father-in-law Lynn Vinet. Jade who put her children first was a great mother to Ashton and Ella. She was like a social butterfly who loved to go to dances, concerts and visiting those whom were close to her. Jade was known for her Goth attire and her love of all holidays of which she decorated the house to the fullest, along side the many photos she displayed of family. Honorary pallbearers are Calvin Ross, Bruce Audit, Jay Funk, Don Inkster, Bradley Taylor, Jeffrey Taylor, Darrell Taylor, Dale Vinet and A.J. Vinet. Soloist is Tracy Caton. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, September 20, at 8:30 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. at Inkster with cremation following. A celebration of Jade's journey will be held on Wednesday, September 21, at 2:00 p.m. also at the chapel with Pastor Keith Eberhard of the Church of the Rock officiating. Interment to follow in St. Clement's Cemetery, Selkirk. The family would like to thank all the staff on GD6 at the Health Sciences Centre and staff from Clinic 4, Pharmacy, Chemo Therapy Room and Radiation all of CancerCare, Health Sciences Centre. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made in Jade's memory to CancerCare Manitoba. We close our eyes and feel you there, Your touch, your sound, your eyes, your hair. And because love grows as time moves on. Our fear of losing you is gone. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 586-8044

Hello Susan I am so sorry to hear about Jade. I did not know until today. I would be a liar if I said I know how you must feel. I do not have words to describe what I feel for you in this moment of your life. The only words I can offer are Jade will not have to suffer any longer or struggle through the pain. I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you. - Posted by: Bev Bonwick (Co-Worker) on: Sep 21, 2005

Dear Susan and family: I'm so glad I had the opportunity to meet Jade a couple of times, more importantly though at the Ladies Retreat in May. It was wonderful to see her laugh and have a good time and make some new friends. I know our Lord has wrapped His arms around you and your family to help ease the pain of losing your daughter. Love, Cynthia. - Posted by: Cynthia Keller (Friend) on: Sep 20, 2005
