ELEANOR MARY CONSTANCE HODGINS On Wednesday, September, 14, 2005 at the Concordia Hospital, Mrs. Eleanor Mary Constance Hodgins (nee Ellery), aged 91 years, of East Park Lodge, Transcona, MB, beloved mother and grandmother passed away quietly. Born in 1914 at RR No. 2, Mount Elgin, ON, Mrs. Hodgins lived most of her life in a rural setting near Ingersoll and Thunder Bay, ON, until she and her belated husband moved to Transcona in 1986. Mrs. Hodgins is survived by her children, Alice Ford of Edmonton, AB, Charles (Ted) and wife Donna of Hope, BC, Ellen Hodgins of London, ON, William and wife Brenda of Lacombe, AB; also surviving are eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; one brother and one son-in-law Ernie Dunning. She was predeceased by her husband John David in 1995 and by a son John Allan, age six years in 1952. Viewing will take place at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., Aubrey Street entrance, Wednesday, September 21, beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 22, at the Henderson Highway SDA Church, 1314 Henderson Hwy. With Pastor Jeff Potts officiating. Interment to follow at the Transcona Cemetery. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart or Stroke Associations.
