Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARIA CAPLAP 25 JULY 1925 - 20 SEPTEMBER 2005 Born in Western Ukraine, Maria recently celebrated her 80th birthday. She emigrated to Canada after the war, raised three children and conquered many agonies, including cancer twice, along the way. Maria was a daughter, a mother, a wife, and, much to her delight, a Baba . Feeling the loss, while celebrating her release into God's care, are her husband of over 50 years, Andrej; her son Gerry (Nancy); granddaughter Heather and sister Anna with families (Peter, Lesya (Joris), Oksana (Bob)). Maria will be welcomed into heaven by son John and daughter Helen. In keeping with her worldly love, she is now sitting in God's backyard (and the weather is perfect). Divine Liturgy will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Friday, September 23 at St. Andrew's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 160 Euclid Ave. with Fr. L. Ratushniak officiating.
