DOUGLAS CHARLES ROSS Passed away peacefully on July 13, 2005 at the age of 72, having fought a courageous battle with ALS. Doug will be sadly missed by his loving wife and soul mate of 52 years Laurina; sons, Gary (Margaret) and Rick (Doris). Doug, known with great affection as Pere, will be missed, though forever remembered in the hearts of his grandchildren, Jacqueline (Shane), Nicole, Ryan, Danna, Keegan and Nathan. He was predeceased by his parents, Don and Ruth; sister Beulah and is survived by his sisters, Donna, Barbara and brother Ray. Our handsome, gentle, kind Pere leaves many family and friends to embrace very special lifelong memories of our times shared together. Our greatest appreciation and thanks to Dr. Wale, Dr. King, Dr. Love, Palliative Care nurses for their outstanding care, the ALS Society, hospice and home care nurses, family and friends in helping Doug during his illness. Service will be held at a later date. Farewell my family and friends.
