GERALD HENRY BARNES June 4, 1929 - September 21, 2005 After a lengthy illness, our beloved husband, father and dear friend peacefully passed away. It is with deep regret that we announce the death of Gerald on Wednesday, September 21, 2005, at the Grace Hospital, at a young age of 76 years. He will be sadly missed by his wife Joan (Postles), of 44 years of marriage; his four children, Susan (Sway Majetic), Carol (Robert Eekhoudt), Andrew and Nicola (Todd Trudeau); seven grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Adam, Jennifer, Allison, Cameron and Eric; and sister-in-law Anne Postles. Gerald will always be remembered for his outrageous, off the wall sense of humour, the funny jokes he told and stories of the good times in England. We will miss your smile, your humour, kind words and your love for all of us. You may be gone from our sight, but you will always be in our hearts. You will be deeply missed by all. A private family funeral service will be held in the Chapel of Memories in Wojcik's Funeral Chapel, 2157 Portage Ave. at Sharp Boulevard.
