FLORENCE HELEN GILLESPIE (nee HAWRYK) Peacefully, after a brief illness, it is with deep regret that we announce the death of Florence Gillespie, on Sunday, September 18, 2005, at the Grace General Hospital, at the age of 72 years. She will be deeply missed by her daughter Pat McAlpine; sister Pat Richardson and adopted daughter Wendy Denby; nephews, Robert, Jim, Bill and Tom Richardson; nieces, Florence, Cindy and families; numerous other family members and dear friends. As well, she will be missed by her five furry four-legged grandkids, Max, Shelby, LilJack, Jessie and Puddin. Florence was predeceased by her special partner Jack Smith, in April 2003. Florence was born in Winnipeg and resided there until her passing. She spent her working life in the insurance business until her retirement at the age of 64. Florence was a member of No. 4 St. James Legion. Florence will be sadly missed by all for her spunky nature and big heart. She was truly a friend to all. On Wednesday, September 28 at 1:00 p.m., Florence's funeral service will be held in Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Ness Avenue and Mount Royal Road). For those who wish, parking will be available in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church Parking Lot located on Ness Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations in Florence's memory may be made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3. Mom, you were not only my mom, but my best friend. I will miss you more than you know. I thank you for always being there for me unconditionally. I love you and I will see you again someday in another place. Until then, this is not goodbye, but until we meet again . WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665
