AUDREY JEAN BELL (nee KOWALSKI) On Friday, September 23, 2005, Audrey passed away peacefully and with dignity in her sleep. She was born on March 19, 1934 in Winnipeg, MB. She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Gertrude Kowalski; brothers, Allan Kowalski (Mary) of Ormocto, NB and Roy Kowalski (Jean); and sister Barbara Veal (nee Kowalski). Audrey is now reunited with them in a better place. Audrey is deeply missed and survived by her husband of 48 years, George Bell; daughter Kelly McPherson (Ward); sons, Mark and Russell (Jona); two grandchildren, Michael and Trevor whom she deeply loved and was proud of. Audrey is survived and missed by brother John Kowalski and his wife Vicki of Calgary, AB. She will be sadly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Audrey was an avid sports fan, particularly baseball and curling. She loved camping and travelling. More recently she enjoyed the summer at Spruce Sands, Gimli, MB with husband George and family. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 28 at 2:00 p.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. No. 1 East at Navin Road. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery. Special thanks to Dr. Caners and staff at Concordia Hospital, for their support and caring during her illness. Special thanks also to staff on the 8th Floor, Palliative Care at St. Boniface Hospital for their care and compassion.
