Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryBARBARA ANNE ROBSON (1944 - 2005) On Friday, September 23, 2005, at the Women's Hospital, Barbara, aged 61 years, peacefully passed away after her battle with cancer. Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her parents Catherine and Jacob Kirby; daughter Victoria Robson and stepchildren, Robert Robson and Lisa Browski. She will also be greatly missed by her extended family, neighbours and many friends. Barbara was born May 14, 1944, at the Victoria Hospital and grew up in St. James, attending Silver Heights Collegiate. She attained her Home Ec. and Education degrees at the University of Manitoba. During the early 70s Barb taught the children of the Canadian Forces for two years in Baden-Solenger, Germany. She returned back to Winnipeg where she taught at Salisbury Morse Place up until her passing. Throughout her 38 years as an educator she has touched many hearts and influenced many lives. She was full of compassion and forgiveness and this strong, quiet woman would never leave anyone stranded or alone. Barbara was a devoted mother and daughter. Her love and encouragement could always be felt with every new challenge Victoria decided to take on. We would like to thank the staff on the fifth floor of the Women's Hospital for the care they gave Barbara during her stay. Interment will take place at St.Vital Cemetery on Friday, September 30 at 3:30 p.m. Barb will be remembered in a service on Sunday, October 2 at 2:30 p.m. at Knox United Church, 400 Edmonton St., with a reception to follow at Fred Douglas Place. Flowers gratefully declined; if desired, donations can be made to a charity of your choice. NEIL BARDAL INC. 949-2200

Mrs.Robson was a wonderful person. She was my favourite teacher at Salisbury Morse Place Jr. High. I thought of Mrs.Robson as more of a friend than a teacher, and I will miss as if she was family. - Posted by: Jasmine Reilly (Friend) on: Sep 26, 2005

Mrs. Robson was an amazing woman. She was my cooking and sewing teacher when I went to SMP. She was an awesome person to be around, and put a smile on childrens faces. I know she put one on mine every class I took with her. She will be greatly missed. - Posted by: Leigh Sutherland (Friend) on: Sep 25, 2005
