My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Mrs. Stenhouse offered me my first job opportunity in the Insurance Industry at Reed Stenhouse in 1985. She was patient, kind, and had a great sense of humour. I was saddened to hear of her passing. She will be in my thoughts forever. - Posted by: Karen Gobeil (nee Wolansky) (Co-Worker) on: Oct 23, 2005

Dear Bob, I am so sorry to hear about Edith. What a lovely lady she was! I always enjoyed our chats when she was walking through the hotel. I shall miss her. My stepdad died around the same time as Edith and I was unable to get to the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers were with you. Please call me when you are up to it and we will have lunch together. Thinking of you at this time of sorrow. Love, Beverley - Posted by: Beverley (Friend) on: Oct 17, 2005

Edith was my first boss at my first job in 1974. She took me under her wing, guided me, encouraged me and became my mentor and friend. When she retired, no one could replace her and I left the company. I continued to see or correspond with her now and again even while living out of the province for 10 years. It is with great sadness that I am writing this. I will miss her. Bob, I am thinking of you now. Be strong. Remember all the love and happiness you shared together. - Posted by: Kim Moore (Co-Worker) on: Sep 28, 2005
