MARYTH CONSTANCE BROWN Maryth Brown died peacefully at Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 27, 2005. Born in Minnesota, she was the daughter of the late Ida and James Darwin. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Frank Donald Brown. She is survived by her son Darwin (Dori) Brown, White Rock, BC; her daughter Maryth (Charles) Maxner, Halifax, NS; and her grandchildren, Ashley Brown, Regan Brown and Erin Maxner. She was a longtime resident of the Tuxedo area of Winnipeg. She and Frank enjoyed their many years at the cottage at West Hawk Lake and their yearly trip to Hawaii. She was a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church in Winnipeg, and a member of the Women's Guild of the Children's Hospital. Special thanks to the Station Two staff of Tuxedo Villa Nursing Home, Dr. Burke, Dr. Singer and especially Mrs. Doreen McFadyen for her caring friendship. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service to be held Saturday, October 1, 1:30 p.m. at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway. A private interment will take place at a later date.
