TOM MCAMMOND We announce the passing of Tom McAmmond on August 23, 2005 in Bradenton, FL. Tom was predeceased by his wife Helen, and brothers, Wallace, Austin and James. To cherish his memory are his wife Annette of Bradenton, his son Jim (Sue) of Detroit, MI, and grandsons, Matthew and Jamie; his sisters, Beatrice Wlosek (Joe), and Evelyn Copper (Ernie); sister-in-law, Betty McAmmond, and many nieces and nephews of Winnipeg. Tom was born and raised in Winnipeg and in 1938, married Helen Taylor. They eventually moved to Detroit where he was employed for many years by General Motors. Upon retirement Tom and Helen moved to Bradenton and spent many enjoyable summers with family, friends and neighbours at their cottage on Brereton Lake. Tom married his dear friend Annette Defabrizio in 2003. The family would like to thank Annette for her loving care of Tom. A memorial service was held on September 24 in Bradenton.
