Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryALFRED BENJAMIN COOKE Alfred Benjamin Cooke, aged 90 of greater Vancouver, formerly of Winnipeg, died peacefully after a brief hospital stay on September 25, 2005, in Burnaby Hospital, BC. His loving wife Thelma and sister Gwen predeceased Mr. Cooke. He is survived by daughter Carole (Glenn) of Winnipeg and son Rob Cooke of Vancouver, granddaughter Candi (Daniel) and two great-grandsons, Benjamin and Hayden. He is also survived by sister Patricia; brother John (Liz); sisters-in-law, Amy and Dora, as well as a number of nieces and nephews. Ben lived a long, healthy and happy life. His greatest passions were his love of the bag business, with which he was involved all his working life and his love of sports. We will all miss Dad's sense of humour. A private family burial has taken place in Winnipeg at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family wishes to thank Cliff and Maretta Ketchum for all their kindness and support over the years and thanks also to neighbor Carl. Our many thanks go to Dr. Amin and staff and to the doctors and nurses at Burnaby Hospital.
