HELEN KASAN (WAYTOWICH) (nee OZUBKO) It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Helen Kasan who passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on September 28, 2005 at the age of 74 years. She will be ever so missed by her sister Olga, niece Cari (Carlos) and their children, Lindsey and Brittany, grandchildren, Scott and Tammy and many other family members and close friends. Helen was predeceased by her husband Paul Waytowich, her beloved son Richard, her parents, John and Doris Ozubko and brother Stanley. Helen was a wonderful, fun-loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. She touched many people with her sense of humour. It was a very special quality that can never be repeated. As she fought for her life in hospital, she still managed to brighten up the nurse's days. A very special thank you to the surgical and medical ICU departments and especially the entire nursing staff on A-3 step down unit to whom we are so very grateful. We invite you to come and celebrate Helen's life with us. Prayers will be held on Sunday, October 2 at 7:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main St. Funeral service will be held on Monday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Chapel with Rev. Fr.
