I realize it's been 20 years ago since Bruce passed. I know he was stationed in Ashern, Mb in the early 70's. I encountered him during a very dark time of my life, and he talked to me in a very compassionate manner, he guided me from my dark path into light, and to many avenues of careers throughout my life. This year marks my 54th year of being in the workforce. His choice of words, his encouragements, his guidance is what has kept me enjoying life and work. His name has always stood by me and that is how I came across this post. I believe from Ashern he moved to Dauphin. Though, we did not stay connected, it was his words that rang through my being after all these years to this day. May God's blessing be upon his survivors. - Posted by: Alvin Thompson (Acquaintance) on: Jul 21, 2025

Our sympathy goes out to you, Marg and your family. Bruce and I discussed our similar cancer operations some time ago, at a function in Winnipeg. He was very optimistic at the time and it is with sadness that I read of his passing. - Posted by: Garnet and Betty Woodman (Co-Worker) on: Oct 03, 2005

Margaret and family. We were honoured in that Bruce stood up for us at our wedding on 14NOV1964. I trained with Bruce in Regina, and he one of the jokers in the troop, funny and friendly. He was liked by all. It is with sadness that we read of his death. My sister phoned yesterday and gave me the news, and I later read an email from a close friend from my home town of Amaranth, who was in the troop ahead of Bruce and I. Our sympathies to you. May you find comfort in happy memories. - Posted by: Keith & Lillian Shotbolt (Friend) on: Oct 02, 2005
