JEAN GUILBAULT January 21, 1933 - September 28, 2005 In loving memory of Jean Guilbault (nee Beckman) peacefully on September 28 with her family by her side at the Northwood Lodge in Red Lake, ON. Jean passed away at the age of 72 after a 10-year struggle with Parkinsons. She was born in Lampman, SK. On January 21, 1933. She lived in Estevan, SK and Woodridge, MB most of her childhood. She moved to Winnipeg with her family in 1952 and her first job was working at Woolworths. Jean and Armand married in 1954 and moved out to The Pumps in Northwestern Ontario. They bought their home on Red Lake Road in 1962 and have lived there ever since. She worked for Rene Ross and Kirouac Contracting for 25 years and retired in 1995. Their home was her pride and joy and all were welcome. Summer times saw their home with a revolving door of relatives coming and going. She loved her family, her gardens, her sewing and crafts, and summers by the lake. Left to celebrate a lifetime of wonderful memories are her husband Armand; daughters Doreen (Dale) Leutschaft, Gail and partner Miles Levesque, Helen (Tom) Grymaloski, Bonnie (Bob) Peters. Her memory will be cherished always by her grandchildren Jolene, Erin, Melissa, Christina, Jeramie, Miranda, Nathin, Priscilla, and Jessica. We know that Mother Lena Beckman and her sisters, brothers, in-laws, relatives and friends will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her sister Laurette on October 27, 2003. We would like to thank the Staff at the Northwood Lodge for their exceptional care and support for both Jean and her family. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Monday October 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Vermilion Bay, with Father Luigi Filippini officiating. If friends so desire, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Northwood Lodge Home for the Aged through Dryden Community Funeral Home, 249 Grand Trunk Ave., Dryden, ON P8N 2X3, to be put towards palliative care furniture for the Northwood Lodge in Red Lake, Ont.
