ROSEMARIE (MUSCHI) GLASER With heavy hearts and great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved, Rosemarie (Muschi), who passed away peacefully, at the St. Boniface Hospital on Thursday, September 29, 2005 after a brief illness at the age of 77 years. Remaining to cherish Rosemarie's passing are her beloved husband Werner, daughters, Jackie (Jim) and Louise (Marty); son Rick (Heather); grandchildren, Sean, Chani (Darren); great-granddaughter Sara; sister Anneliese (Richard), relatives and in-laws in Germany and in the United States and many, many friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rosa; her brother Sepp; and her first born son Klaus. Rosemarie was born in Bad Tolz, Germany on April 11, 1928 and married Werner on September 28, 1948. They immigrated to Canada in 1954 with their children, Klaus and Jackie. Several years later Richard and Louise were born. Rosemarie was a homemaker and also worked part-time in the evenings for many years. Rosemarie was a very kind, gentle, thoughtful and jolly soul. Everyone who met her loved her instantly. She was a wonderful and loving Wife, Mother, Oma, and Mother-in-Law. Rosemarie loved life which was evident in all of the letters and cards she wrote. She loved to put stickers on everything. Stickers were the mark of Mom . Some of Rosemarie's favourite activities were knitting, crocheting, swimming, gardening, walking, travelling, going to the zoo, cross country skiing and even shovelling snow! She enjoyed wine, ice cream, seafood, flowers (especially orchids) and heinzelmen (gnomes). Rosemarie loved all animals; frogs, birds and dogs, especially Bonzo, Chopper and most recently Winx. Above all she loved her family. We will miss so many things about Rosemarie; her flaming red cheeks when she drank wine, the sweaters she was always making for all of us, her potato salad, devilled eggs, cakes and cookies and the way she said she would cook us some coffee . She spoiled each of us and loved us all so much. Rosemarie is re-united with her son Klaus and is at peace in a better place where there is no suffering. She will remain with us in our hearts and memories forever. We are all fortunate to have had her in our lives. On Wednesday, October 5 at 10:00 a.m., Rosemarie's funeral service will be held in the Silver Heights United Church, 199 Garrioch Ave. (corner of Mount Royal Road and Ness Avenue). For those who wish, parking is available in the Seventh Day Adventist Church parking lot on Ness Avenue. Thank you to Dr. Ip and to the oncology staff at the St. Boniface hospital for their compassionate care and treatment of Rosemarie. Flowers are gratefully declined but we know that Mom (Muschi) would be honoured to have donations made to the Winnipeg Humane Society, Assiniboine Park Zoo or CancerCare Manitoba in her memory. You were always there when we needed you, No task too great or small. With loving heart and willing hands, For us you did them all. Thank you Muschi, Mom, Oma for being a special part of our lives. We love you and will always miss you. WOJCIK'S ALL BELIEFS FAITHS FUNERAL CHAPEL CREMATORIUM 897 - 4665

Jackie and Family: We are so sorry for the loss of your Mom. We only met her once when she visited us with you and Jim at our home in Regina, but liked her bubbily, friendly ways immediately. God Bless. - Posted by: Rolf & Rose Starkebaum (Friend) on: Oct 04, 2005
