DIANNE MARY GWISDAK December 9, 1940 - September 30, 2005 Dianne passed away peacefully in the company of her best friend Sheila Silvari at the Winnipeg Health Sciences Centre. Dianne was born in Thunder Bay, ON and educated in Winnipeg before moving to the Toronto area where she ran a successful business for many years. During her life Dianne enjoyed the outdoors, boating and had a special talent for working with wood. Dianne returned to Winnipeg and worked at Fresh Water Fisheries. She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Anne Gwisdak and is survived by her sister Grace (Reginald) Cansdale, niece Sharon (Mike) Cory, cousin Heather (Jim) Moore and her aunt Ivy Thomson. Special friends to Dianne were Sheila, Marion, Margery, Audry and Rebecca. A celebration of her life will be held at Neil Bardal Inc., 984 Portage Ave., entrance on Aubrey Street on Wednesday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. Dianne would like those who knew her to, instead of flowers, send a donation to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 5 Kent St., Winnipeg, MB R2L 1X3.
