ANN ANITA KAMIEN On Monday, October 3, 2005 at the St. Boniface Hospital Anita Kamien passed away at the age of 88 years. Anita was born May 6, 1917 in Gross Kurschen, Memelland. She is survived by many friends in Winnipeg and relatives in Germany. Anita was predeceased by her parents and her husband Heinz in 1972. Anita had many hobbies including singing and dancing. She belonged to the German Society, Arthur Murray Dance Studio, Ken Matthews Dance Studio and the German Canadian Congress. Anita loved singing in with German Choir, which she considered her family and she was a longtime member of the Lutheran Church of the Cross. Funeral service Thursday, October 6, 11:00 a.m. at the Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street. Interment Green Acres Cemetery at Highway No. 1 and Navin Road. Special thanks to the nurses and staff of the 6th floor at the St. Boniface Hospital for their kindness and care.
