Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryLENORE MARGARET JEANETTE WEIR (nee MCBEAN) God has opened his arms and taken Lenore, (mom and grandma) to her eternal resting place on October 1, 2005 at the Riverview Health Centre at the age of 61. She was born on August 9, 1944 in Winnipeg to Cyrus and Hannah McBean. Lenore leaves to celebrate her life and wonderful memories, her sons, Mark (Kelly) and Andrew, daughter Cindy, grandson Zak and husband Wilfred. As well as brothers-in-law, Frank (Bernice) and Robert, nieces, nephews and special family friend Wendy (James). Lenore spent her life caring and giving to others by providing fun, laughter and love to all those who crossed her path. She took great pride in volunteering, clowning and writing inspirational children's stories. Along with caring for her own children, she took in several foster children and with her strong Christian faith, she dedicated much time to the many churches she attended. Lenore's request was cremation and a memorial service that will be held Wednesday, October 5, 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Voyage Funeral Home, 220 Hespeler at Henderson Highway. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations in her memory be made to a charity of one's choice. I have known Lenore for many years. I may not have been able to see her all that much since my car accident but I know we always kept each other in our thoughts and prayers.
